Happy Thanksgiving!

We're adding more and more leaves to our tree since the last post. There is so much to be thankful for!

Fall Leaves Banner

Here are some pics of art projects we did last week. Here we filled a large pan with shaving cream, and then swirled some paint into it.

The kids all pressed pieces of paper into the paint tray and lifted them out to see what colors and designs had transferred onto their paper.

Emily is lifting it up carefully to check out what design she made.

When the papers dried we cut them into leaf shapes. Okay, the 2 year olds didn't really do that part.

We added letters....

Then we hung the banner on our Thankfulness tree. Now we're writing things we are thankful for on solid color paper leaves and placing them on the tree branches. There are so many ways that God is so good to us. The tree may need to sprout some more branches to contain it all.

Fun Fall Activities - Making a Corn Wreath

Aubrey's excited about another project that includes paint. Our objective: A Corn Wreath.

The kids used bubble wrap to stamp white paper with yellow, orange, red, and green paint.

When it was all painted up, and dried, we cut out corn shapes, and gave them some husks.

I think it goes well with our orange security door.
